M.T.Groove Biography

Hi, We’re M.T. Groove.

Michelle has been dancing since 1998 and Tracey slightly earlier in 1997. We’ve both been teaching since 2000 and thoroughly enjoy it although with the social scene dancing brings it’s tiring sometimes as we both work full time, but it’s worth it! We currently run an intermediate/advanced class where we teach all the latest ‘New line’ dances. We have a great class who have all become valued friends and we have a good laugh together. We enjoyed dancing so much that we ventured into choreography in 2002. Our first dance was called ‘Party Up’.

We have taught at various workshops and just love the buzz teaching to a large crowd brings. We still suffer with major butterflies before teaching at events but it keeps one on their toes!!!! (Excuse the pun)!!!We have had great support from fellow choreographers especially Kate Sala who we value as a friend for her guidance and support. One of our all time favourite dances is ‘Killing Me Softly’ by Kate. This biography cannot be written without a big mention to Dave and Pauline. ……Well what can we say??? They’re ‘awesome’ and have supported M.T.Groove all the way since we first met. We admire them considerably and would like to thank them for everything that they do.Some of our all time favourite dances old and new are: AM to PM, Tragedia, Just Say It, Don’t Want None and What It Is.

Finally we love dancing and please say hello when you see us out and about we can chat for England!!!!!
